The upholstery fabrics are carefully selected to balance comfort, durability, and longevity. Polyester upholstery is commonly used because it offers strong wear resistance, colour stability, and easier maintenance compared with many natural fibres. This durability extends the sofa's lifespan, reducing the need for replacement and supporting a more sustainable approach to furniture designed for everyday use.

Broste Copenhagen works to reduce unnecessary packaging while ensuring furniture arrives safely during transport. Larger items are packaged using recyclable cardboard outer cartons, with protective polythene wrapping used inside to prevent damage and moisture during transit. While plastic protection is still required for certain products, the brand continues to work with suppliers to improve packaging materials and reduce environmental impact where possible.
