These Trade Terms & Conditions apply to trade customers purchasing from Bokel (www.bokel.co.uk).

2. Trade Customers
Our trade service is designed for:
- interior designers
- architects
- property developers
- hospitality and commercial projects
By placing an order through a trade account, you confirm that you are acting for business purposes.
Trade customers are not consumers, and consumer legislation such as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 does not apply.
3. Trade Accounts
- Trade accounts are subject to approval
- We may request business details to verify eligibility
- We reserve the right to approve, refuse, or withdraw trade status at any time
Trade pricing, discounts, and services are provided at our discretion.
4. Our Products
We offer:
- made-to-order furniture (manufactured overseas)
- in-stock furniture (held in the UK)
- custom design and bespoke products
Our products are designed for both residential and commercial projects.
Due to the nature of materials and craftsmanship, natural variations in finish, colour, and texture may occur and are not considered faults.
5. Orders
- All orders are subject to acceptance
- A contract is formed when we confirm your order
We may cancel or amend orders due to:
- pricing or specification errors
- stock or supply limitations
6. Pricing & Payment
- Prices are in GBP (£)
- VAT is [included/excluded – confirm]
- Payment terms will be agreed at the time of order
We require:
- full payment upfront
Orders may be delayed or cancelled if payment is not received.
7. Delivery
General
- Delivery timelines are estimates
- We will keep you informed of progress where possible
Made-to-Order Furniture
- Typical lead time: 8–12 weeks
- Timelines may vary due to production, shipping, or customs
- Bespoke design lead time: 8–16 weeks
In-Stock
- Dispatched from the UK
- Delivered via courier or specialist delivery partners
Project Deliveries
For larger or project-based orders:
- delivery arrangements may be agreed separately
- site access and readiness are the responsibility of the customer
Risk
Responsibility for goods passes on delivery.
8. Inspection & Acceptance
- Goods must be inspected upon delivery
- Any issues must be reported within 48 hours with supporting evidence
After this period, goods are considered accepted.
9. Returns & Cancellations
General
As trade orders are placed for business purposes, returns are limited.
Made-to-Order & Custom Products
- Non-cancellable once production has begun
- Non-returnable unless faulty
In-Stock
Returns are not accepted unless:

- items are faulty
- incorrect items have been supplied
Where returns are accepted:
- prior approval is required
- restocking or handling fees may apply
10. Refunds & Remedies
Where an issue arises, we will work with you to provide a suitable solution.
This may include:
- repair
- replacement
- credit note
Refunds are not guaranteed and are provided at our discretion.
11. Custom Design Service
For bespoke projects:
- designs and specifications must be approved before production
- the customer is responsible for the accuracy of measurements and requirements
- changes after approval may result in additional costs
All custom items are non-refundable once approved.
12. Use of Products
Products are supplied for use within your projects.
We are not responsible for:
- installation
- third-party handling
- project timelines
13. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
- we are not liable for loss of profit, business, or project delays
Our liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied.
14. Delays Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for delays caused by:
- supply chain disruption
- manufacturing delays
- shipping or customs issues
- events beyond our control
15. Intellectual Property
All designs, drawings, and concepts remain the property of Bokel unless agreed otherwise in writing.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
