Why is wood a durable choice for dining tables?
We only sell dining tables that are crafted from 100% solid wood. This allows the dining tables to truly withstand daily use and last a lifetime.
Manufactured materials such as MDF, particleboard, and veneers are prone to chipping, marking, or swelling and are difficult to repair. Our solid timber tables are inherently durable, easy to maintain, and completely renewable. If life leaves a mark, a simple sand-and-varnish will bring your table right back to life.
What size dining table should I choose?
Choosing a dining table is an exercise in mastering spatial proportion and visual flow. To create an inviting, beautifully balanced room, we recommend leaving a minimum clearance of 90 cm between the table edge and the wall, extending to 120 cm for high-traffic zones and walkways near garden doors. This invisible boundary ensures chairs glide out effortlessly without interrupting the room’s natural traffic.
