FAQ
What are your TV stands made from?
Our TV stands are made from 100% solid mango wood rather than MDF or veneer, providing a more durable structure with natural grain variation. This extends to internal shelving and drawer components, not just the exterior.
Mango wood is a hardwood that is derived from trees that have reached the end of their fruit-bearing life, with new trees planted in their place. This approach supports more responsible sourcing, while retaining the durability and structure of solid hardwood. Read Our Commitment statement.
All hardware is solid brass, with other options available via our custom design service.
What size TV stand should I choose?
A TV stand should generally be wider than your television to create a balanced look and provide stability. It also allows space for additional items such as speakers or decorative pieces.
How do I measure for a TV stand?
Start by measuring the width of your television and the space available in your room. It’s helpful to allow extra width on either side of the TV, as well as enough depth for the stand and any media equipment.Start by measuring the width of your television and the space available in your room. How high should a TV stand be?
TV stands are typically chosen so the centre of the screen sits at a comfortable viewing height when seated. Lower designs are often preferred for living spaces with sofas.
