The Elcot Dining Table is crafted from solid reclaimed teak. It is fully FLEGT-licensed, an official certification guaranteeing that the timber is 100% legally and ethically sourced in line with strict environmental standards.

By recycling old timber from historic Indonesian buildings, this bench gives beautiful wood a second life while protecting living forests from being cut down. Because this mature wood spent decades weathering the elements in its past life, it has fully settled and naturally pre-shrunk. This means it will not warp, crack, or twist when introduced to the central heating and changing temperatures inside your home.

Packed with its own dense, natural oils, this heavy-duty timber is highly durable and completely chemical-free. Unlike outdoor teak, this indoor bench is designed to keep its rich, warm wood tones over time, providing a tough, character-filled centrepiece with a unique history.

Prioritising sustainability, Garden Trading uses mostly recycled, fully recyclable paper-based materials, avoiding excessive plastic wrap and eliminating bulky, non-recyclable fillers wherever possible. This ensures your furniture arrives safely and securely in an eco-friendly package that can be easily disposed of in standard household recycling bins
