The Atina Stripe Scented Candles achieve their main ecological advantage through a reusable dual-purpose design. The 280g candles are formulated with 100% sustainable soy wax and locally sourced British fragrances, which produce a cleaner burn than standard petroleum-based paraffin. The ultimate material impact is minimised by the glass housing itself; once the soy wax is spent, the food-safe vessel can be washed out and kept permanently as a functional drinking glass.

The protective packaging for the candles avoids single-use plastics and unnecessary landfill waste. Each striped glass vessel is delivered inside a thick, rigid cardboard gift tube that eliminates the need for plastic bubble wraps or shrink-wrap layers during courier transit. The raw paper components are vegan-friendly and engineered to be processed straight through standard municipal recycling streams.

The impact on labor and supply chain welfare for the Atina Candle stems from an international manufacturing setup. While the initial concepts are handled by design studios in the U.K., the physical production of the glasses takes place in a certified partner factory located in China. The factory operates under audited international baseline credentials to ensure safety and fair labor protocols are maintained for the assembly staff.

The labor footprint of the home fragrance line is kept entirely local, dramatically reducing opaque global supply chain risks. Every single candle in this collection is hand-poured inside U.K. workshops. This domestic production model ensures direct adherence to British employment laws, guaranteed fair domestic wages, and completely transparent workshop environments for the artisans crafting the product.
