By recycling old timber from the pillars and frameworks of old homes in Indonesia, this table gives historical wood a second life while protecting living forests from being cut down. Because this older timber has already spent decades weathering the elements outdoors, it has fully settled and naturally pre-shrunk. This means it will not warp, crack, or twist when left out in your garden.

This mature wood is naturally tougher than young plantation timber. It is packed with its own dense, weatherproofing oils that naturally resist rot and insects, without the need for harsh chemical coatings. Over time, the rich wood tones will naturally weather to a soft, silver-grey patina when exposed to sun and rain, adding even more character to a heavy-duty table built to last a lifetime.
