FAQ
What are your tables made from?
Our tables are made from a combination of oak and solid mango wood, rather than MDF or veneer. Using 100% real wood provides a more durable structure while allowing the material's natural grain and variation to show through. We love that our furniture is easy to maintain and repair, so it lasts forever.
Is mango wood a sustainable material?
Our mango wood is also sourced as a by-product of the Indian fruit industry, where trees are replanted once they stop bearing fruit. This makes it a more sustainable material, while still offering the strength and character of solid wood.

How does your ethical tag system work
Our ethical tag system is designed to give a clearer view of how each piece is made before it reaches the website. Every product is reviewed across key areas such as materials, sourcing, packaging and working conditions.
Rather than using broad claims, each tag highlights specific aspects of the product. This can include responsibly sourced materials, how sustainably it is packaged, or confirmation that it has been produced in socially compliant factories.
The aim is to be transparent about where a product performs well, and where there is still room to improve, so you can make a more informed choice.
Why are some designs made to order?
Some of our standard designs are produced to order rather than held in large stock. This allows us to make pieces more intentionally based on demand, rather than mass-producing items that may not be used.
This approach helps reduce unnecessary overproduction while maintaining the same designs, materials and quality across the collection.
Can I customise a table to suit my space?
Our Custom Design Service allows you to tailor dimensions, finishes and details to suit your space. This can be particularly useful when working with specific layouts or matching existing furniture.
